The new film Jung’s Ranch (working title), starring Ryu Seung Ryong and Park Hae Joon, officially started filming on Jan 22, distributor Lotte Entertainment said.

Jung’s Ranch tells the story of two brothers, who treat each other as strangers, raising cows without a single word. Ryu Seung Ryong plays the older brother Man Soo and Park Hae Joon has been cast as the younger brother Byung Soo.

On top of that, Ong Seung Wu, Jung Suk Yong, Lee Sang Hee, Sung Byoung Sook and Jeon Seok Ho confirmed their appearances.

On Jan 28, the character poster that features the clear contrast in the two brothers’ expressions was released. If one is rejoicing, then the other is annoyed, and vise versa. Their entirely different faces and personalities are raising expectations for the story Man Soo and Byung Soo will unfold.

After finishing his first shoot, Ryu shared, “I was very attracted to the scenario that left me a deep echo. Looking at the two brothers, Man Soo and Byung Soo, I am sure that our movie will warm your hearts, too. So I ask for your support and interest.” Park said, “I look forward to spending the next few months as Byung Soo and the time I’ll be with Ryu Seung Ryong. I will do my best to convey the charm of the movie.”

Jung’s Ranch, the commercial debut film of Splash Splash LOVE director Kim Ji Hyun, is produced by Yong Film, the production company of many tentpole films like The Handmaiden, Believer and The Call.
