The episode of MBC Every1’s Video Star aired on the 26th was a ‘Scenestealer Special’ with Song Young Gyu, Kim Dae Hee, Lee Jung Hyun, Park Seung Min, and Z.flat in it.

Song of the late actress Choi Jin Sil, Choi Han Hee, drew attention as he made his first appearance on the show as a rapper Z.flat. He told the hosts of the show to treat him triflingly, confessing that he wants to break the image he had before. While he has a composed and mature image, he showed off extraordinary talking skills in the episode.

As Z.flat demonstrated the hidden rap skills on King of Mask Singer, he successfully stole the scene and rose to the top of real-time searches. “I never imagined. I didn’t even think to go up any higher than the first round. It was better to think that way,” he said humbling himself.

On the reason for choosing to be a singer instead of an actor, he explained, “I wanted to continue my mother’s legacy. As my family members were in the industry, I naturally dreamed of being a singer, and/or actor. And here I am as a singer.” The rapper also said that he did not choose to be an actor as actors have to “base their emotions on scripts, while a singer can express their emotions as they are.” He also mentioned that his late mother wouldn’t have forced the dream of an actor on him even if she was here.

Z.flat made his debut as a rapper last November with a self-written song, “Designer.” Claiming that he only listened to the song 3 times, Z.flat clarified that the song has been rearranged to be brighter than what he originally wished for it to be. The artist also performed “Designer” in its current and original versions as the emcees praised his skills.

In regards to what he said in the past, “I would win as the first on Show Me The Money without a doubt,” Z.flat frankly confessed that he was only full of confidence when starting music. “I saw a colleague of mine gaining popularity on shows like SMTM and High School Rapper. So I also worked hard for it but I realized that I would gain an immature image once eliminated early from the show. So I decided to look at the bigger picture. And whilst so, I became too old to join High School Rapper.”
