tvN’s new drama Cliffhanger will resume filming tomorrow.

The Cliffhanger production crew told Newsen that they plan to resume filming tomorrow after about a month break. “We have completed the COVID-19 tests by the 21st and confirmed that all of our staff members tested negative,” they shared.

They also added, “Actress Go Min Si will be participating in tomorrow’s filming, and the cast will also be inspected for the virus according to their filming schedule. We are preparing for the shooting with safety as our top priority under thorough health authorities’ guidelines.”

Cliffhanger immediately conducted the inspection and stopped filming on December 23 last year when a part-time staff who worked on the set construction came into close contact with the COVID-19 confirmed patient. At the time, the staff in question was also tested positive for the virus.

Cliffhanger is a mystery drama that will tell the story of people who climb through the mysterious and unexplored regions of Korea’s Mount Jiri. The drama boasts its jaw-dropping crew, Goblin and Mr. Sunshine director Lee Eung Bok, Kingdom writer Kim Eun Hee, star-studded cast of Jun Ji Hyun, Ju Ji Hoon, Sung Dong Il and Oh Jung Se.
