Hyeri’s YouTube Channel Nears 1 Million Subscribers

Actress and member of Girl’s Day, Hyeri, is reaching toward a gold button for having 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. It has already been a year and seven months since Hyeri first started the channel back on July 15th, 2019. Let’s have a look at how Hyeri managed to gain a million subscribers in that period, and why her channel is receiving a lot of love.

First, it is because of the consistent uploads of videos. Though Hyeri is currently not uploading new videos as she is filming tvN’s new drama My Roommate is a Gumiho (also known as Frightening Cohabitation), she used to post new videos weekly while constantly communicating with fans.

She uploaded 25 videos in 2019 alone and 27 in 2020. She also unboxed silver buttons and hosted Q&A sessions to commemorate 500k subscribers.

The second reason lies within the videos’ contents. Hyeri took part in her YouTube videos by showing a natural day in her life without hesitation. Hyeri shows herself on the way to get her makeup done, with a bare face that just woke up. Known for her good appetite, she also showed mukbangs (eating shows) in videos. From daily vlogs to travel vlogs, makeup videos, and MBTI personality tests, she opened up to a variety of video content.

Lastly, the secret to her YouTube channel is how she communicates. She makes her subscribers feel as if they are communicating by never leaving the audio of the video silent. Hyeri explains every little thing and makes them feel as if they’re with her.

The actress further demonstrated a certain relatability to the public as tvN’s DoReMi Market‘s regular member. Her easygoing and honest personality is probably why she is loved by many.
