Jung Ilhoon decided to leave his group BTOB.
On Dec 31, Cube Entertainment officially announced that Jung Ilhoon, who is currently under police investigation for drug charges, will leave BTOB.

First of all, we sincerely apologize for causing you concerns with the case involving our artist Jung Ilhoon.
Jung Ilhoon feels deeply responsible and reflects on how he broke his fans’ trust and caused disappointment. The company also took this sternly, and after careful discussion, we decided to respect his opinion that he could no longer harm the group and officially announce his departure as of today.
We feel a heavy responsibility for the current situation and will do our best so he can faithfully participate in his ongoing investigation diligently.
From here on, BTOB will continue promoting as 6-members, and we will continue to support and do our best so that BTOB can continue to show more mature music and performances.
Once again, we sincerely apologize to the fans who support and care for BTOB.”
Meanwhile, Jung Ilhoon is currently under police investigation for purchasing illegal drugs, and habitual usages of weed and other drugs.
