Lee Jung Su and Yang Sun Ah Donated All Honeymoon Expenses to the Hospital?

Co-produced by SKY and Discovery Channel Korea, Hello! Plate presented chefs who were on a mission with the theme of a ‘Honeymoon plate’. Teams of chefs were evaluated by seven newlywed couples who have had to postpone their weddings or honeymoons due to COVID-19.

In an episode of Hello! Plate which will air on the 31st, Lee Jung Soo of the national short track speed skating team famous for winning two gold medals at the Vancouver Winter Olympics will be joining with his model wife Yang Sun Ah as one of the seven newlywed couples. The couples all had various backstories, including a couple who donated all 3 million Won (approximately 2.76k USD) of their honeymoon expenses to the hospital in the face of a difficult time like these.

The chefs carefully prepared a plate each for couples who encountered the disaster of COVID-19 during their honeymoon, a period which was supposed to be the happiest time for them.

Meanwhile, global chefs compete on the food survival show, Hello! Plate, for the 100 million won prize money. The show airs every Thursday night at 9.10 p.m. KST on SKY and Discovery Channel Korea.
