JTBC’s new drama Snowdrop, set in Seoul in 1987, tells the love story of Im Soo Ho (Jung Hae In), a student at a prestigious university who suddenly rushes into a female dorm one day covered in blood, and Eun Young Cho (Blackpink’s Jisoo), the cheerful and lovable student who hides him and takes care of his wounds even while facing danger under close surveillance.
Earlier, Jung Hae In and Blackpink’s Jisoo were reported to have been cast as the main characters, and they were joined by numerous talented actors, such as Kim Hye Yoon, Jang Seung Jo, Yoon Se Ah, and Jung Yoo Jin.
In the drama, Yoo In Na plays Kang Chang Ya, a surgeon at the National Medical Center. Not only is she a skilled surgeon who wins everyone’s trust in the operating room, but she is also a fatally attractive woman who overwhelms any opponent at once. Yoo In Na will flawlessly take on the role of Kang Chung Ya, who is beautiful, intelligent, yet mysterious, with her colorful charms.
Snowdrop, which completed its start-studded “dream” cast, is one of the most anticipated dramas to be released next year. Writer Yoo Hyung Min and director Cho Hyun Tak joined hands once again after SKY Castle.
