Won Ho Selected as Teen Vogue’s ‘Best K-POP Moments of 2020’ With ‘Open Mind’

In their December issue, Teen Vogue magazine chose the title track from Won Ho’s debut album, “Open Mind,” as one of the Best K-POP Moments of 2020.

Teen Vogue explained that the “Open Mind” MV gained a lot of attention from “fan-edits on Tiktok,” as “the 14-second edit featured Wonho in a half-zipped top, revealing abs that swayed with his movement and the music.”

They added that locals called him “jacked” and “mad elegant” and praised Won Ho that “this viral edit was merely an introduction to him and that people stay for his artistry, which is also mad elegant.”

Last September, Wonho released his debut mini-album Love Synonym #1: Right for Me, which went straight to the top of iTunes’ worldwide album chart and became the TOP3 of K-POP charts in 30 different regions.

The album proved its global popularity as it ranked in multiple Billboard charts, and the first on the Oricon chart for two consecutive weeks.
