‘New Year Blues’ Postpones Its Release to Next Year + Cancels Its Press Conference and Interviews

Will You Be There? director Hong Jin Young’s new film New Year Blues has postponed its release with the re-proliferation of COVID-19 confirmed cases.

Acemaker Movieworks stated, “We have decided to postpone the release of New Year Blues, which was scheduled to be released on December 30, in order to prevent the damages caused by the re-proliferation of the coronavirus.”

With this decision, the press conference scheduled for the 22nd and online interviews with Lee Yeon Hee and Yoo Teo planned the next day were all canceled.

An official from the movie shared, “As it was a decision made after much consideration, we ask for the understanding of those who waited for the movie. No revised schedule has been confirmed yet.”

New Year Blues, starring Kim Kang Woo, Yoo In Na, Yoo Yeo Seok, Lee Yeon Hee, Lee Dong Hwi, Chen Duling, Yeom Hye Ran, Choi Sooyoung and Yoo Teo, follows the four couples who must each overcome different fears and problems as they face the beginning of a new year.
