MONSTA X took this week’s THE NEW K.ID Chart by a storm. MONSTA X recently collaborated with the undisputed hip hop legend, Snoop Dogg, as they featured on a soundtrack of ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run’ titled, ‘How We Do’. The movie version of the beloved American animated television series tells the story of SpongeBob who goes on an adventure looking for his missing pet, Gary. A surprise collaboration with a global artist like Snoop Dogg shows the path that MONSTA X has been on for the past couple of years to become a global superstar. Starting with the World Tour in 2017 and appearances on various music festivals, radios, and shows, MONSTA X has been expanding their presence in the United States. MONSTA X also released their third official album, ‘FATAL LOVE’, with its title track ‘Love Killa’ winning in various music shows.

Coming in at #2 is BLACKPINK, who teased a secret global project on November 23rd. BLACKPINK’s management and talent agency, YG Entertainment released a teaser video titled ‘BLACKPINK? AROUND THE WORLD’. The teaser shows satellite images of major cities around the world with their hit song, ‘How You Like That’ playing in the background. Although no formal information has been leaked regarding the project, fans have been speculating in excitement of what the global artist, BLACKPINK, is up to next. BLACKPINK recently released their first official album ‘THE ALBUM’.
At #4 is TREASURE, who released a live performance video of their new song, ‘ORANGE’. Following a successful run of their hip hop track, ‘MMM’, TREASURE comes back with a mellow R&B song, ‘ORANGE’. YG Entertainment released their live performance video of ‘ORANGE’ on November 20th, as each member showcased their amazing singing voice virtually to their fans. Both ‘MMM’ and ‘ORANGE’ are included in their newest album, ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE’ which has been breaking records in the music industry.
Ranked at #7, GFRIEND won their 71st title in Korean music show programs. On November 9th, GFRIEND made their comeback with the third official album, ‘回:Walpurgis Night’, showing their dominance as the K-Pop performance queens. Following their win at the Korean music program, ‘THE SHOW’ on the 17th, GFRIEND also topped ‘Show Champion’, marking their 71st title in Korean music programs. GFRIEND thanked their fans, ‘BUDDY’, for their successful run in the industry.
