Jung Eun Chae and Lee Min Ho to Work Together Once Again in ‘Pachinko’ Following ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’

Jung Eun Chae has been cast in the Apple TV’s new series Pachinko.

According to a media outlet, Jung Eun Chae was recently cast for Pachinko and began her preparations. With this, Jung Wun Chae will make inroads into the US market in earnest.

In Pachinko, Jung Eun Chae will play Kyung Hee. As Jung boasts exotic visuals and is fluent in English, attention is focusing on what will show in this mega-project.

Based on the New York Times best-selling novel of the same name, the eight-episode drama Parchiko chronicles the hopes and dreams of four generations of a Korean immigrant family. It is expected to be a blockbuster with actors from Korea, America and Japan and will be filmed in Korea and Canada.

In particular, Lee Min Ho and Youn Yuh Jung were reported to have been cast to take the lead roles, making headlines. With this, Jung will reunite with Lee Min Ho once again after The King: Eternal Monarch.

Meanwhile, Media Res will be producing the drama, while Korean-American Soo Hugh (who oversaw on season one of the AMC anthology The Terror) penned the script.
