Mnet has announced its position on the ranking manipulation of its program Produce 101.

On November 18, Mnet released its official position and wrote, “Mnet respects the court’s decision and humbly accepts the trial’s outcomes. We bow our heads in apology once again for causing a huge social stir.”

The rest of the statement reads, “Especially, the names of the trainees who were victimized through the ‘Produce’ series were released. We cannot express our apology enough towards the trainees and their families, who were scarred from this incident. Since this issue surfaced, we have been discussing compensation for some of the trainees involved. We have come to terms with some trainees so far and are in the process of negotiating with the rest. We will take responsibility until the end for all the victims who have been revealed through this trial and do our best so that they receive complete compensation.”
