“Hello, this is Re:Cielo.

We would like to explain why Park Yoo Chun wasn’t wearing a mask when he arrived at the Thai airport on November 5.

After arriving in Thailand on September 19, 2020, all staff, including the artist, were tested for COVID-19 according to the Thai government’s guidelines and underwent two-week self-isolation under the guidance of the Ministry of Disease Control and the Ministry of Public Health in Thailand.

The photo, which was released on November 2, was taken during a VTR filming to promote the concert in Thailand and was conducted in compliance with thorough quarantine rules as well as prior consultation with the officials.

All staff, including the artist, are making utmost efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure safety by wearing masks on all schedules, including when they entered the airport. Nevertheless, we sincerely apologize for making you worry with a misleading photo.

We promise you that we will do our best to prevent the spread of the virus in all future events.”

Meanwhile, Park Yoo Chun was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year suspended sentence on the charges of drug usages. Taking back his earlier retirement announcement, Park Yoo Chun announced his comeback and started his promotions in earnest about 6 months ago.
