‘Seobok’ Drops the First Still Photos of Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum

Seobok, directed by Lee Yong Joo, unveiled the first still photos of Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum.

On October 26, CJ Entertainment unveiled the photos of Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum. Seobok tells the story of former agent Ki Heon, who is given his last order to protect mutated human clone Seo Bok, who holds the secret of eternal life. With many people seeking to obtain that secret, the two are caught up in an unexpected situation.

Ki Heon (Gong Yoo), a former intelligence agent who desperately wants to live, is given a final mission that he couldn’t refuse from Ahn (Cho Woo Jin). And that mission is to protect and move the world’s first human clone Seo Bok (Park Bo Gum) to a safe place. Ki Heon sets off with Seo Bok, who has never stepped out of the lab under the protection of Dr. Lim Se Eun (Jang Young Nam), and soon comes under unexpected attacks from those who seek Seo Bok’s secret.

Gong Yoo, a trusted actor who has captivated audiences of all generations with megahit films like Train to Busan and The Age of Shadows, returns to the big screen as a tough former intelligence agent Ki Heon. Park Bo Gum, who is currently starring in Record of Youth, made his comeback to the big screen five years after Coin Locker Girl, taking on his first lead role.

On top of that, veteran actors Jo Woo Jin, Jang Young Nam and Park Byung Eun joined the project, enlivening the story. Seobok, the first Korean film to feature the subject of a cloned human, will captivate the audience by presenting an emotional “bromance” as well as fresh characters and overwhelming visuals that have never been seen before.

Seobok will be released in December.
