The movie Seobok, starring Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum, has confirmed its release in December.

CJ Entertainment confirmed the release of its new film Seobok in December. On October 20 at 6 p.m. KST, the company released a clip of Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum promoting their new movie on its official Instagram account, drawing keen attention.

Seo Bok is an action thriller that will tell the story of Ki Heon, a former agent from an intelligence agency who was given his last order to protect the world’s first human clone Seo Bok. For the first time in the history of Korean cinema, the movie revolves around a human clone.

Gong Yoo plays Ki Heon, a former intelligence agent who needs to protect Seo Bok, presenting both delicate emotional performances and intense action sequences. Park Bo Gum takes on the role of Seo Bok, the worlds’ first human clone.

Today, CJ unveiled the character posters that show the two men in conflicting situations, making headlines. According to industry insiders, the company has tentatively decided to release the movie on December 2.

Seobok, which is drawing worldwide attention, is directed by Lee Yong Joo, who started “first love syndrome” with Architecture 101 that recorded the highest box office score for romance movies at the time.
