Gong Seung Yeon will take on her first thriller film with the short film You, I’ve Been Desperately Searching For (literal title).
According to the actress’s agency Varo Entertainment, Gong Seung Yeon has been cast in You, I’ve Been Desperately Searching For.
This upcoming short film is directed by Lee Min Seop, who was selected at the 24th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival’s “Ghost Story Archive Production and Distribution” (funding is available for the production of short films based on ghost stories). It is a fantasy, horror, and thriller genre film that deals with the true feelings of the two, who started talking under an eerie situation.
Gong Seung Yeon will play a woman who hears a man’s talk on the phone while passing by and starts a conversation with him out of nowhere.
After building up her acting career to numbers works, including Heard it Through the Grapevine, Six Flying Dragons, Introverted Boss, Are You Human Too?, and Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency, Gong Seung Yeon will challenge her first thrill film and show a delicate and thrilling emotional performance.
