tvN dropped the table read video for the upcoming drama True Beauty.
On Oct. 10, tvN released a clip from the table read for their new Wednesday-Thursday drama True Beauty on NAVER TV.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, True Beauty is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a young woman who doesn’t want to be caught without makeup on and her heart-fluttering romance story with a boy who knows her bare face. Moon Ga Young will play Im Joo Kyung, who is insecure about her appearance and uses makeup to make herself appear beautiful to the world, while Cha Eun Woo takes on the role of Lee Soo Ho, a boy with hidden scars in his heart.
In the released video, Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, Hwang In Yeop, and Park Yoo Na caught the eyes with their visuals that perfectly resemble the characters from the original webtoon.
Moon Ga Young said, “We will show you a similar, but different and richer story from the original work,” and Cha Eun Woo said, “I think how each character grows as a person will be the key point of the drama.”
Meanwhile, True Beauty will premiere in December.
