Kim Ok Bin and Lee Joon Hyuk have confirmed their appearance in the new OCN drama Dark Hole (literal title).

OCN’s dramatic cinema Dark Hole depicts the survivors’ desperate survival against mutants created when humans breathe mysterious dark smoke from a sinkhole. It is the fifth work of OCN’s dramatic cinema project, which combines the format of movies and dramas to show the essence of the well-made projects.

Kim Ok Bin plays Lee Hwa Sun, a police detective in the Seoul regional investigation unit. Lee Hwa Sun’s life is turned upside down when she heads to Mujishi after receiving a phone call from her husband’s murderer. However, there, she finds a living hell as people who inhaled a mysterious black smoke, and soon turned into monsters. Now, not only does she have to fight off monsters to survive, but also battle her fear to hunt the murderer.

Lee Joon Hyuk has been cast as Yoo Tae Han, a native of Mujishi and a wreck car driver. He has an easy-going personality and likes to joke around, but he actually has a stronger sense of justice than anyone else. So, when he meets Lee Hwa Sun in the middle of chaos in Mujishi, he devotes his life to saving others from danger.

Dark Hole, which drew attention as a work in which Strangers from Hell writer Jung Yi Do and production team joined forces, completed a more perfect picture with the casting of Kim Ok Bin and Lee Joon Hyuk.

Dark Hole will premiere in the first half of 2021.
