BTS will deliver a message of hope to the 75th United Nations General Assembly.

The Korean Committee for UNICEF revealed that BTS’s global message of hope will be presented in front of a “UN Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security” meeting on September 23rd at 9 AM EST (10 PM KST).

For the future generation that will face hardships due to COVID-19, the “UN Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security” invited BTS as special speakers for this year’s UN General Assembly.

The “UN Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security” was launched in 2020 by the Republic of Korea for the purpose of strengthening the UN’s response to health security issues, including COVID-19. More than forty member nations are involved in this group, and it is currently co-chaired by the Republic of Korea, Denmark, Sierra Leone, Qatar, and Canada.

BTS will be speaking at the UN General Assembly for the second time. In 2018, the group inspired young people around the world through their message of “LOVE MYSELF” at the General Assembly. BTS will take a step forward this year and encourage others to practice solidarity in the midst of such hard times with the message of “Let’s Live Again In A New World.”
