[Weekly TV Top 10] tvN Dramas Are Making Headlines

tvN dramas are getting great responses one after another. From Flower of Evil, which premiered in July, Stranger 2, which returned with season 2 after three years, and to Record of Youth, which drew attention as Park Bo Gum’s last drama before getting enlisted, all tvN dramas are getting satisfactory results. Next month, Lee Dong Wook’s Tale of the Nine-Tailed and drama Start-Up, starring Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk, will premiere, and attention is focusing on whether tvN will perform well in the fall-winter season. The Dramas on 2nd Week of September 2020

tvN’s new drama Record of Youth debuted at No. 1 amid keen interest in Park Bo Gum’s appearance. After the first episode, some pointed out that the story is a bit outdated, but more positive reviews were seen from the second episode. Stranger 2, which had been on the decline for three consecutive weeks, saw a slight rise this week and came in second. Once Again, which has been consistently praised for being a perfect family drama, recorded the best popularity and ranked third. The fourth-ranked Flower of Evil rose 26.87 percent in popularity than the previous week, breaking its own best record. Actor Kim Ji Hoon’s intense psychopath performance became one of the hottest topics.

The Non-Dramas on the 2nd Week of September 2020

Although Hidden Singer: Season 6 saw a lower figure in terms of popularity compared to last week, it still blasted into the second week at No. 1. Many netizens praised Hwasa’s one-and-only tone, but many showed disappointments that the impersonators’ vocal styles did not really resemble Hwasa. I-LAND came in second thanks to enthusiastic supports from fans. The show is receiving hot reactions in Korea and Japan, and Korean netizens rolled up your sleeves to vote for the Korean trainees. Third place went to Call Center of Love, which aired the special episode with musical actors.
