IU heralded her comeback with a studio album within this year.
In the recent video posted on IU’s YouTube channel, IU said, “I am preparing to release a studio album after a long time in time for this year’s concert,” drawing keen attention.
For the video, IU turned herself into Lee Ji Dong, a staff from her label, to answer her fans’ questions. When asked about her plans for a concert this year, she answered, “I have no plans for a concert this year. But I am preparing for various events.”
She then added, “I am prepared a studio album, which is a top-secret. This year, I am releasing a studio album in time for the concert. Since it’s been a long time, I will work on it longer and release it unexpectedly.”
