BTS has created yet another history by topping the Billboard’s âHOT 100â chart.
According to Billboard, BTS topped âHOT 100â with their new song âDynamite.â The âHot 100â is the music industry standard record chart published weekly by Billboard magazine. Chart rankings are based on radio plays, sales data, and streaming data.
BTS is the first Korean artist to top this chart. Psy was ranked second for seven consecutive weeks with “Gangnam Style” in 2012, but he could not make it to the top.
BTS’s previous best performance on the Billboard âHOT 100â was fourth place recorded by the title track âONâ released in February this year.
Each of the BTS members also expressed their joy and gratitude by writing various comments on Twitter and Weverse.
âI just talked with Suga, but thank you and thank you, ARMY. I’m so sorry but I don’t know what to write. Can’t stop crying.â
âI can’t sleep cause I can’t believe this.â
âI’m still baffled, but you guys (ARMY) made this happen and you will be congratulated, and I hope you are as happy as this record. Thank you and thank you.â
âThrowing punches in the air.â
