Director Yoon Dan Bi’s Moving On is officially invited to both San Sebastian International Film Festival and Vancouver International Film Festival.

Onu Film, the production company, announced that Moving On was invited to the Perlak section of the 68th San Sebastian International Film Festival. Perlak is a selection of the year’s best feature films, screening for the first time in Spain and acclaimed by the critics and/or winners of awards at other international festivals.

Last year, director Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite and Koreeda Hirokazu’s La Vérité were invited to the section.

Moving On was also invited to the Gateway section of the 39th Vancouver International Film Festival, which runs from September 24 to October 7.

Director Yoon Dan Bi’s Moving On tells the story of two siblings Okju and Dongju moving into their grandpa’s house during their summer vacation after their father goes broke. It had its premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, bagging four awards (NETPAC Award, DGK Award, Citizen Critics’ Award, KTH Award). The film has also been invited to leading overseas film festivals, including the Rotterdam International Film Festival and the New York Asian Film Festival.
