With the recent re-surge of COVID-19, both Pawn and Space Sweepers postponed their release dates.
According to the movie industry, Pawn informed actors and staff members that the scheduled promotions and release date have been suspended. Initially, Pawn planned to hold a press conference on September 22 and release the movie on September 10.
However, as the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases rose up to 434 on August 27, the production team held a meeting and decided to postpone the release date.
An official said, “We won’t be delaying it for long. But no one is sure how long we will postpone the release because we don’t know how the COVID-19 situation will change.”
Meantime, the release of Space Sweepers has also been suspended. Merry Christmas, the distribution company, announced that Space Sweepers, which was originally scheduled to be released on September 23, will postpone its release due to the recent COVID-19 situation.
They said, “We’ll keep an eye on the situation and let you know as soon as we decide. We ask for your understanding for those who have been waiting for the release of Space Sweepers and pray that things will get better as soon as possible.”
