On August 1, Im Seul Ong was involved in a car accident that resulted in the death of a jaywalking pedestrian. Since then, a security camera footage that shows the accident was released to the public, making headlines.
According to Starnews, police plans to forward Im Seul Ong to the prosecutor’s office next week at the latest. The police investigation is virtually in its final stages, and the police plan to summon Im Seul Ong for one last questioning soon.
An official from the police said that they failed to summon Im Seul Ong for further questioning last week and are likely to proceed this week. The date and related details of the summons will stay private since it’s an ongoing investigation. He added, “But we will reach a conclusion and send the case to the prosecutor’s office next week at the latest.”
