Park Ha Sun was honored with the Best Actor Award at the 24th Bucheon Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN).
At the closing ceremony of the 24th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival held on August 16, Park Ha Sun won the Fantastic Best Actor Award for her film Go Back.
She expressed her gratitude, saying, “I once thought that I might not win the best actor award in my life, but I think this award will give me a great strength. When I saw the movie for the first time yesterday, I was embarrassed and realized my shortcomings. However, thanks to the director, our staff, who were more professional than any other scene, and actors, the result was amazing that I even shed tears watching it.”
Director Seo Eun Young’s second feature film, Go Back is a film that asks heavy questions about child abuse and violence that has been concealed under the name of family, the wounds that cannot be easily healed, and the “attacker and victim” and the “sin and punishment.”
Park Ha Sun played the role of a social worker Oh Soon and gave a heartfelt performance.
Meanwhile, Park Ha Sun is in the midst of filming tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Birthcare Centre (literal translation), which is scheduled to air in November.
