Movie Diva, starring Shin Min Ah and Lee Yoo Young, released an eye-catching trailer.
Diva is a mystery thriller that occurs when the latent desire and madness wake up after the diving queen, Lee Young, was involved in a mysterious car accident.
The trailer begins with Shin Min Ah’s spectacular diving scene. The subtle gap between Lee Young, who won the gold medal, and her best friend, Soo Jin, who always lags behind her friend despite her efforts, creates an intense tension.
After the mysterious accident that happened to the two, Lee Young notices the side of Soo Jin she never realized and slowly breaks down surrounded by madness and desire, raising expectations for Shin Min Ah’s transformation.
On top of that, the finger pressing on Lee Young’s scar and the line, “Is it because you’re afraid of losing your place to me?” boosts the sense of immersion to the highest level. As such, the released trailer, which foretells the birth of such a completely different mystery thriller using diving as a topic, raises the question of what tragedy Lee Young and Soo Jin will face at the end.
Shin Min Ah and Lee Yoo Young, who have worked hard to overcome their fear of heights for Diva, will not only renew their own “all-time” characters, but present a dynamic and jaw-dropping transformation.
Diva is scheduled to be released in September.
