EXO’s Sehun and Chanyeol Become a Half-Million Seller with Their Album ‘1 Billion Views’

EXO’s Sehun and Chanyeol have become a half-million seller with their first full-length album.

EXO-SC released their first full-length album 1 Billion Views on August 13. As of July 31, 526,868 copies of the album were sold.

With this record, they became a half million-seller, proving their global popularity.

Upon its release, the album received great results. In Korea, it topped the monthly charts in July on various music charts, including Gaon Chart, Hanteo Chart, Shinnara Record and Hottracks. It also topped iTunes Top Albums Chart in 51 regions around the world, and swept the Chinese music charts such as QQ Music and Kogou Music.

The two recorded QQ music’s “Double Platinum Album.” Within an hour and 25 minutes of the album’s release, sales surpassed 1 million CNY (about 143,982 USD). This is the shortest record among albums released by K-POP groups this year.

Meanwhile, 1 Billion Views includes a total of nine tracks: “1 Billion Views,” “Say It,” “Rodeo Station,” “Telephone,” “Jet Lag,” “Fly Away,” “Nothin’,” and “On Me.”
