SHINee’s Minho will be back to his fans’ side soon.
On various online communities, posts titled similar to “Reason why we feel someone else’s military service lasts shorter” gained attention for sharing Minho’s recent pictures.
Minho joined the Marice Corps on April 15, 2019, and has been serving his military duty. He was last seen in January when he appeared in the winter issue of the Military Manpower Administration’s web-magazine “Ode to Youth.”
At that time, Minho said, “I applied because I thought the Marine Corps would be a great experience and asset for me. It’s a place where people who are more passionate and stronger than any other military are gathered,” expressing his pride in the Marine Corps.
He then added, “We can use our phones after work hours, so I often talk to my members and talk about setting our vacation dates together.”
Minho, currently a sergeant, is scheduled to be discharged on November 15. In related news, SHINee’s Key will also be discharged from the military on October 7.
