BLACKPINK will release their first full-length album on October 2nd.
On July 28th, YG Entertainment posted a teaser poster titled “The Album” on the label’s official blog. This will be the group’s first full-length album in 4 years.
According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK plans to focus on the global music market in 2020. They are working with Universal Music, the world’s biggest music group, to launch a global project that will help catapult them forward.”
In June, BLACKPINK released their first pre-release single “How You Like That” to immense popularity. The single achieved a Perfect All-Kill on domestic charts and topped charts on the world’s biggest streaming services. The music video for the song also broke records and accumulated more than 300 million views as of now.
