Ma Dong Seok (English name Don Lee) personally announced the release date of his new Marvel Studio film The Eternals.

On July 21, Ma Dong Seok posted three photos on his Instagram, along with a message, “Marvel Studios’ THE ETERNALS will be released in Feb 2021. Sharing with you some photos from last year, from the set in London. Gilgamesh’s trailer, Welcome letter from Marvel Studios, Gilgamesh’s chair. Thanks always for your support. Cheers!”

The released photos show his trailer with champagne, a welcome letter from Marvel, and a chair with the word Gilgamesh. The welcome letter reads, “Dear Don, welcome to the Marvel Studios family! We are so excited that you are a part of this and are looking forward to starting this journey with you!”

The synopsis explained, “After an unexpected tragedy following the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ the Eternals, an immortal alien race created by the Celestials who have secretly lived on Earth for thousands of years, reunite to protect humanity from mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants.”

The fact that is the first time a Korean actor has been cast as a leading character of MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), made headlines at the time.

The Eternals, which has already finished filming, was preparing for release in November, but postponed all schedules due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the release date has been changed to February 12 next year.
