Kim Hee Sun and Joo Woon will visit the small screen in August.

Next month, through SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama Alice, Kim Hee Sun and Joo Woon will present a magical time traveling story.

Alice is a human SF drama that tells the story of a man and a woman who are separated by death, only to be reunited by overcoming the limits of time and space.

Kim Hee Sun will play a double role. She plays Yoon Tae Yi, an eccentric physicist who tries to unlock the secrets of time travel, and scientist Park Sun Young from the future.

The production team explained, “Kim Hee Sun will digest completely different characters. She will express an independent and confident character to warm-hearted motherly love.”

Joo Woon chose Alive as his comeback project since his discharge from the military. He will play the male lead Park Jin Gyum detective, who learns a hidden secret about himself while attempting to solve the mystery of time travel.

The production team said, “Jin Gyum looks cold, but he is a person who holds a deep sorrow. Not only will Joo Woon present his unique acting, but also thrilling action scenes.”

Alice will premiere at 10:00 p.m. on August 28 KST.
