IU has expressed her feelings that she has never shown before.

On July 11, IU uploaded a video of how she feels after finishing her concert tour on her official YouTube channel. In the video, she specifically pointed out the audience at the Gwangju concert to express her apology.

IU indirectly expressed the difficult times she faces at the beginning of the tour. She said, “I still feel sorry for the early audience, especially the Gwangju audience, because I couldn’t raise my condition much in the beginning than other performances.”

“All of the staff members did not mention the fact that I was feeling down than usual. I was so grateful that they pretended to not know anything,“ she added.

IU remembered the tour, saying, “It was the first time concert where I had so many worries, the first concert where I felt this much grateful for the audiences, and the first concert where I praised myself this much. The fact that there are still so many new things makes our lives more fun.“

IU held a tour in four regions in Korea and six regions abroad from November 2 to December 28 last year.

In fact, she heard the news of her friend’s passing and began the tour in great sadness. She also delayed the release of her new album.

Upon seeing this, fans left heartfelt messages.

“I’ve been to all the shows, but this performance (Gwangju) definitely stuck in my memory. I was able to feel her pain and felt like I became closer to her.”

“I almost cried at the end of this video.”

“She’s not saying it directly, but I can feel her hearts.”
