BTS RM‘s playlist mono has topped the iTunes Album Charts in 103 countries.
On July 11, RM’s mono topped The Republic of Cape Verde iTunes Album Chart. With this, mono topped the iTunes Album Charts in 103 countries. This is the best and the only record by Asian solo artist.
The No.1 iTunes Top Album is held by Ed Sheeran’s ÷, which topped the chart in 120 countries. The list is followed by Adele’s 25 (114 countries) and Taylor Swift’s Reputation (113 countries).
RM’s mono, released in October 2018, delivers various emotions that RM felt and thought about as a leader of BTS and as an ordinary young man, Kim Nam Joon. The album includes a total of seven tracks, “Tokyo,” “Seoul,” “Moonchild,” “Badbye,” “Uhgood,” “Everythingoes,” and “Forever Rain.”
mono was released as a free mixtape format. It is available in Big Hit Entertainment’s official Twitter account, SoundCloud or iTunes.
