BLACKPINK has set a YouTube milestone.

According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel has accumulated more than 10 billion views. The fact that they have set the best record with a single channel with the symbolic figure of “10 billion” is jaw-dropping. This record was made about 4 years after the BLACKPINK channel was opened on June 28, 2016.

The number of subscribers to BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel is also increasing rapidly. About a week ago, the channel surpassed 41 million subscribers.

Billboard wrote, “This is the sixth-largest number of subscribers following Justin Bieber, Marshmello, Ed Sheeran, Eminem, and Ariana Grande. BLACKPINK is the first non-English-speaking artist to reach 40 million subscribers and the second female artist in the world.”

In fact, BLACKPINK’s record-breaking streak on YouTube is noteworthy. The music video for “How You Like That” set a new world record for “the most views of YouTube video within 24 hours of release“ after recording 86.3 million views on the first day. In addition, they were officially listed on the Guinness World Records in five categories, including “most views of YouTube’s music video within 24 hours of release” and “most views of K-POP group’s music video within 24 hours of release.”

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK unveiled their pre-released title “How You Like That” on June 26.
