BTS Jimin‘s solo song âFilterâ set a new record for a Korean male solo artist on Spotify.
According to Spotify on July 5, Jimin’s âFilterâ has surpassed 60 million streams as of July 4. With such a record set 134 days after its release, Jimin is now the first Korean male solo artist to achieve the feat in the shortest time.
Besides, âFilterâ also recorded the most streams among all tracks in BTS’s fourth full-length album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7. It is also ahead of the title track âONâ and the pre-released track âBlack Swan.â
At the time of the release, âFilterâ entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Official Singles Chart and the Canadian Billboard Chart. The popularity is still ongoing. The song ranked 5th on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart for 16 consecutive weeks.
