TWICE‘s MORE & MORE album become the most-sold K-POP girl group album.
According to Gaon Chart, TWICE’s 9th mini-album MORE & MORE has sold a total of 563,000 copies. This is the best record among all girl groups since the establishment of Korea’s Gaon Chart.
TWICE, who has been on the rise in popularity with each album, has achieved a cumulative sales of 5.26 million copies in Korea.
The total album sales in Korea and Japan are also phenomenal. They sold 5.26 million copies in Korea and 3.57 million copies in Japan, recording a total of 8.8 million copies.
Even after two-week activities, TWICE won their 106th trophy in music shows. This is also the number one record for most music show trophies among girl groups in the history of K-POP. The music video for the latest title track also surpasses 100 million views, setting an unrivaled record of “100 million views for 13 times in a row.”
