Movie Bikwang (literal translation), starring Ha Ji Won and Ryu Seung Ryong, has postponed the first day of filming to September.

An official from the movie Bikwang told Newses that “We originally planned on starting filming in June, but it was postponed due to the spread of COVID-19. We officially begin filming in September.”

Bikwang is a new film directed by Lee Ji Won, who received favorable reviews through the movie Miss Baek (2018). This family noir film tells the story of the glamorous couple who struggle to get everything back after they fall into the abyss after getting caught up in an incident.

Ha Ji Won plays the role of Nam Mi, a top star who is over the hill, and will present an intense character. Ryu Seung Ryong plays the role of Hwang Joong Goo, a former baseball player who struggles to go back to the “home.”

As the attention is focusing on how the two actors’ chemistry as a married couple will be portrayed, their meeting with director Lee Ji Won has also become a hot topic.
