Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin are considering their appearances in tvN’s new drama Vincenzo (literal translation).
On July 2, tvN told Newsen that Song Joong Ki had a meeting with the Vincenzo production team and is reviewing the offer.
In response, Song Joong Ki’s label HISTORY D&C, said, “It’s true that Song Joong Ki has been offered a role, and he is considering it.”
Vincenzo is a drama directed by Kim Hee Won, best known for Money Flower and The Crowned Clown, and is written by Park Jae Bum, best known for Chief Kim and The Fiery Priest.
The female lead will be played by Jeon Yeo Bin. tvN added, “We did offer a role to her. She is positively considering her appearance.”
If Song Joong Ki confirms his appearance, he will return to the small screen after about a year since Arthdal Chronicles.
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki was supposed to start filming on Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 and finish filming for his film Bogota by the end of this year, but all schedules have been postponed due to the spread of COVID-19.
