The father of Kang Ji Young, a former member of KARA, stepped up for the late Goo Hara. He will act as the witness to an inheritance suit filed by Goo Ha In, Goo Hara’s older brother, against his biological mother.
On July 1, Star News reported that Kang Ji Young’s father will testify at the late Goo Hara’s inheritance suit.
Goo Ho In chose the examination of witnesses as a procedure to prove whether his biological mother Song is entitled to inherit his daughter’s property. Song protested against the witness selections, but the court decided to accept all of them.
Three witnesses will appear on the next interrogation date on July 12: Goo Hara’s aunt, Kang Ji Young’s father, and Goo Hara’s best friend.
Goo Hara’s biological aunt is said to have raised the two since Song ran away from home. Kang Ji Young’s father is expected to testify his position as a family member of a fellow KARA member and talk about Goo Hara’s KARA days.
The best friend was staying with the late Goo Hara for four years before her death. She is said to be one of a few who understood the deceased’s situations best.
Goo Hara passed away on November 24, 2019, at the age of 28.
