GOT7’s Jackson Wang has made a meaningful achievement by entering Mediabase TOP 40 chart.
Back in March, Jackson released his single 100 Ways. The song ranked 29th in the Mediabase TOP 40 chart. Mediabase is a music industry service that monitors radio station airplay in 180 US and Canadian markets.
Jackson entered the chart last month at No.39 and continued to stay in the chart for five weeks. Eventually, he came in 29th as of June 28.
This is the first record as a K-POP solo artist and the nest record as the Chinese solo artist. He is imprinting his presence in the US music market. Earlier, Jackson ranked 32nd on Billboard 200 with his solo album Mirrors, released in October last year.
Jackson showed his excitement, saying, “I’m thrilled and honored by the amazing result. I’m always grateful to my fans for their unwavering support. I will always work hard.”
Jackson will release a special video on YouTube’s 88 RISING channel at noon on July 1 KST, to show his gratitude.
