G-Dragon was recently caught up in a controversy over animal abuse.
Recently, a few netizens posted photos of G-Dragon’s dogs (Gaho and Jolie) taken at a pension run by G-Dragon’s parents on various online communities.
Among all the photos, Gaho’s claws caught the attention. Lying on the floor, Gaho was spotted with a long toenails as if he wasn’t being properly taken care of. The writer also added that both dogs had a lot of tear stains around their eyes, and their eyebrows were poking their eyes frequently.
Some started to point out that the Shar-Pei breed needs constant care because of their nature and needs to be raised indoor since they are vulnerable to heat, cold, and skin diseases. They showed concerns that the fact that the dogs’ nails aren’t clipped suggests the lack of even basic care.
However, some said that the Shar-Pei dogs have long nails, so what the writer wrote on the post is factually wrong.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon adopted a cat after getting discharged from the army.
