With Lee Seo Jin’s Appearance, ‘Three Meals a Day’ Set the Highest Viewership + ‘Gag Concert’ Comes to End After 21 Years

When Lee Seo Jin appeared as a guest, Three Meals a Day: Fishing Village 5 set its all-time high viewership. On the same day, Gag Concert, which had been responsible for the laughter on Sunday night, came to an end after 21 years.

According to Nielsen Korea, the 9th episode of tvN’s Three Meals a Day: Fishing Village 5, which aired on June 26, recorded 12.2 percent viewership nationwide. The figure is up by 1.2 percent from last week’s 11.0 percent viewership and the show’s all-time high record.

In the episode, Lee Seo Jin came to the island as a guest with his hands full. However, as soon as he showed up, he drew laughter by continuously saying, “I’m a guest. Guests are not supposed to do anything.”

Earlier the same day, Gag Concert aired its final episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the 1050the episode of KBS2’s Gag Concert recorded 3.0 percent viewership. This is a slight increase from the 2 percent range the show stayed in for quite some time.

As it is the final episode, comedians who appeared in the heyday of Gag Concert all got up on the stage to show their representative performances. Some burst into tears at the last moment, drawing tears from viewers.
