Kwon Na Ra is in talks to star in the new drama New Secret Royal Inspector (literal translation).
Kwon Na Ra’s agency A-MAN Project, said that they are reviewing the offer they received from New Secret Royal Inspector.
If she confirms her appearance, she will play the role of Hong Da In, a gisaeng (Korean geisha) who has the presence of Hwang Jin Yi and Non Gae’s spirit. Dozens of men line up to see her smile, and her dance and gayageum performances are the best. She deals with Joseon’s most powerful men, but her real identity is damo (a low ranked female detective).
New Secret Royal Inspector tells the story of the secret royal inspector, a unique job that only existed in Joseon. They provided a voice to the public and became the king’s ears, but they could not reveal themselves anywhere. L (Kim Myung Soo) will play the male lead Sung Yi Gyum.
