Red Velvet‘s Irene & Seulgi has finished preparing for their official launch.
SM Entertainment released the schedule poster of Irene & Seulgi’s first mini-album Monster on June 26. According to the poster, they plan on releasing various content such as teaser images, album detail images, mood samplers, and music video teasers sequentially from June 29 to July 5.
The two singers also heralded a strong transformation. The poster shows Irene and Seulgi facing each other with their black hair hanging down. With dreamy eyes, they completed the mysterious atmosphere.
Monster contains a total of six songs. The title track of the same name is a pop dance song. It tells the story of an immortal monster who enters people’s dreams to dance and play.
According to a source, the news song presents heavy bass and intense dubstep sounds that perfectly harmonizes with Ire and Seulgi’s vocals.
Fans are already showing enthusiastic responses as this is the first unit group of Red Velvet in six years.
Meanwhile, Irene and Seulgi will release their new album at 6:00 p.m. on July 6 KST.
