Kim Soo Hyun & Seo Ye Ji’s Heart-Fluttering Start – ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ Starts Off Solid with 6.1 Percent Viewership

tvN’s new weekend drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay marked a pleasant start. In the first episode, it recorded 6.1 percent viewership, ranking first among all the programs aired at the same time slot.

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of tvN’s It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, which aired on June 20, recorded an average of 6.1 percent and soared as high as 7.0 percent viewership.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay is a romantic comedy drama. The story is about a guardian of a mental ward (Kim Soo Hyun), who refuses to love, and a fairytale writer (Seo Ye Ji), who doesn’t know love, heal each other.

In the first episode, the story of Moon Kang Tae and Go Moon Young, who met for the first time as a mental ward guardian and a successful children’s literature writer, unfolded.

Even from the first episode, rave reviews were poured out. First, the perfect chemistry between Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji has captivated the viewers. The two showed flawless performances and jaw-dropping appearances.

The fairytale-like production was also impressive. The costumes, the art, the colors, etc. were all perfect. In particular, a new attempt to open and end the episode with animation dew attention.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 p.m. KST.

  • I will continue to watch. Performances and writing very good. There is not much in Korean drama right now. There are a few that are worthwhile this is one of them.
