BH Entertainment Might Be Producing the Korean Version of ‘Money Heist’

Will the Spanish drama Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) be made into the Korean version?

An official from BH Entertainment said, “It is true that we exchanged ideas on the remake of ‘Money Heist’ with Netflix along with Zium Content, but nothing specific has been decided yet.”

Money Heist is a Spanish drama that has been on air since 2017. The story takes place as a mysterious man known as “The Professor” recruits a group of eight people to carry out heists in the Royal Mint of Spain and the Bank of Spain.

The drama created a syndrome-like craze by meeting viewers from more than 190 countries around the world through Netflix. With its suspenseful story and various charms of the characters, it has captivated viewers across the globe. Season 4 was released, and the production of season 5 was confirmed.

BH Entertainment, which is seeking to produce the remake of Money Heist, is an agency of actors Lee Byung Hun, Han Hyo Joo, Han Ji Min, and Kim Go Eun. It also recently formed a strategic partnership with Black Box Management to decide on a Hollywood remake of the horror movie GONJIAM: Haunted Asylum.
