Ryu Seung Bum revealed by he is not cutting his hair.
In the early morning of June 16, Ryu Seung Bum posted a recommendation of a book on his Instagram. The book he recommended is Why Am I Me, Not You, written by poet Ryu Si Hwa.

The actor wrote, “I personally read this book after getting recommended by Monk Beopjeong. I’m going to read all the books recommended by him, who gives me deep comfort in my heart, and among them, I want to share this book with many people along with ‘Le Petit Prince.’”
He went on to say, “I think many people are wondering why I don’t cut my hair, so let’s read this book together.”
He explained, “I’ve heard that our people used to cherish everything our parents had passed down to us. They thought that keeping our bodies, hearts, and minds healthy was the ‘filial piety,’ and I was told that this is something precious that we have to do (even now). Let’s keep our healthiness once again. Even to a strand of hair.”
People, however, responded that it was an absurd reason. Many started to mock him, saying, “Then why do you smoke cigarettes?,” “Then why do you have all those tattoos?,” “Wow, you are really old-fashion,” and “You do know that you’re gonna cut them when you’re paid (to play a role).”
