The cast of the Army’s creative musical Return will join the meaningful campaign.

On June 15, the 70th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration Committee announced that EXO’s D.O., Xiumin, and FT Island’s Hongki will join a new project “122609 Taegeukgi to Find Until the End.” (taegeukgi – Korean flags)

“122609 Taegeukgi to Find Until the End” campaign was launched to remember the dedication of 122,609 Korean soldiers who failed to return to the arms of their bereaved families.

D.O vowed to “remember the 122,609 heroes who fought for independence until the end.” Xiumin said, “I will never forget and find the people who remember to the end, the country that takes responsibility to the end.” Hongki said, “I will definitely find the 122609 Taegeukgi, which must be found.”

Meanwhile, Return was designed to convey the meaning of the footsteps of our ancestors who sacrificed their lives for the country. It tells the story of patriots who were killed in the Korean War.

The story begins with Seung Ho, a Korean War veteran, wander in the mountains in search of the remains of his fallen comrades. D.O. played Seung Ho in his youth. Xiumin and Hongki play the role of Hyun Min, the grandson of Seung Ho.

Return will be performed at Woori Financial Art Hall in Olympic Park until July 12.
