There are also children on the peninsula who have developed extraordinary viability. Lee Re, who showed as much of a presence as veteran actors in dramas Witch’s Court, Memories of the Alhambra, and films A Melody to Remember and Hope, will take on the role of Joon Yi.

Joon Yi, who has excellent driving skills, shows off the essence of action as she drives through the large crowd of zombies.

Lee Ye Won plays the role of Yoo Jin, Min Jung’s daughter. Her innocent images as she uses RC cars to give the zombies the slip will deliver a fresh fun.

Kim Min Jae, who showed impressive performances in dramas The Fiery Priest, The Cursed, and films Veteran and The Battleship Island, plays Sergeant first class Hwang of Unit 631, who has nothing to protect in the devastated peninsula.

Hwang survived the disaster that engulfed everyone, but lost his humanity for the next four years. He will attack anyone, zombies and humans, if they get in his way.

Gu Kyo Hwan won the Actor of the Year Award at the 21st Busan International Film Festival and Best New Actor Awards at the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards with his role as a transgender person in film Jane.

He plays the role of Captain Seo, the commander who leads Unit 631. Captain Seo speaks with a forked tongue and is honest with his desire to escape the ruined peninsula.

Kim Do Yoon, who made a strong impression on the audience as Father Yang Yi Sam in The Wailing, play Koo Chul Min, Jung Seok’s brother-in-law, who rejoins the peninsula to find a new life.

Peninsula will be released in July at the same time in major countries.
